I have MacPro in which I run Windows XP through Parallels.
I bought from Rogers a BB Torch 9800 yesterday, I installed the Blackberry connection software version 6.0.0.246.
When I open the application it asks me to connect the BB which I did.
The computer, through Windows recognised that the BB device was connected to the USB port.
But the application tries unsuccessfully to connect..
I had before an HTC phone and used ActiveSync software to connect it to the same computer and it worked fine. But not the BB.

Can someone help solve this problem?

Did you try downloading the Mac DM and connecting that way?

Do you mean to install the sync softare directly on MAC ?
I dont kno.w if this would work, because the synchronisation I need is with Windows Outlook Calendar and Contacts and these are in the virtual PC machine and from the MAC application, there is no connection with the contents of the vurtual PC such as outlook.
I tried to plug the BB after opening MAC and before opening Parallel, but it did not work neither. I tried other USB ports and did not work.
I might try to check again the settings of Parallel to see if there some options to change.
Do you think there is something to do in Parallel setting ?
Why the ActiveSync application worked well with my HTC and cant work with BB?

No success in linking my BB 9800 to my PC. Please read my message above and suggest a way to solve the problem.

Did you follow the steps outlined in the link in my earlier post?

Try Google Calender and Contact sync.

I assume that there is no PC with the Windows Live and the data you need?
