Default Try it out & return if it's not your thing

I think T-Mobile has a 30-day return option. Get it and play w/it over a weekend. Once you're hands-on you'll know...

Carrying 2 devices would be a temporary displeasure.

Sync-wise, sync both devices to Outlook. The latest Blackberry desktop software does have a 'switch device wizard' but beware it writes GUID keys to all your Palm records.

From a former Palm Zire 72 user,

Jim

You said you were self-employed. BB Pear is a great device. If you can live without wireless syncing of contacts/calendar etc. Then you would do fine with a cable sync. You're probably using a POP email so that works well with BIS. Go for it. It's a very stable device with a decent camera.

I hated the Treo so much I jumped ship prior to my contract ending with VZW. I could not take the daily resets for the Treo...

Pearl is the way to go.

I jumped ship a couple weeks ago. The main reason I had was battery life and size of the device. I had a Treo 680 and had to charge it every night. Im still figuring out the differences myself ( I use linux so syncing with outlook is not an option ) and my email needs to connect directly with my mail server. Im learning as I go and there is a whole forum for linux users on webpage... So Lots of reading for me!

Battery life on this phone is great by the way... See ya treo...
