No offense. But it's sounds like you are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY, way over your head with this.

You probably need to take the phone to someone else to get it fixed. Either your carrier. Or a third party.

Like Motorcycle Mama said, you're way over your head on this one. All the basic information has been provided for you. If you can't even open up a command prompt from your run, then either your computer is messed up or you need to take some computer lessons.

Go take your phone into a place where someone can do this for you. It's pretty basic. I was new to BlackBerry and I had to go through these same steps once, and it was pretty easy to follow.

You sure did.

You posted in a PUBLIC forum.

Seriously, read what DataCentre has posted. Some of suggestion posted are basic. If you want to fix the issue, take the computer and the phone to someone who understands a little bit better how to work things on a computer.

Try this.
Click on your "Start" button. Then goto "accessories". You should now see "command prompt", click on that.

If I were in your position I wouldn't be insulting ANYONE.

People (including me) have been giving you very basic computer commands to try. None seem to work. That would indicate either a computer problem, or a problem in operating the computer.

DO NOT INSULT ANYONE HERE.

Understood?

I used to be an IT, and I owned my own computer repair business, so yes, I do know what I am doing. I am also a Moderator on another BlackBerry forum, and yes, I do have a pretty good knowledge when it comes to certain BlackBerries.

We're only trying to help you out of this situation that you are in, and from what we are understanding, you're not getting any of it to work.

Good luck.

No one insulted you. You are not able to use the same commands that hundreds have tried successfully. You can't find Javaloader. You say you installed JL_CMDER but you can't run it. You can't start a DOS session (start / run / CMD).

It is not a problem with the instructions.

There are other BlackBerry support forums out there that may be able to help you. Check out pinstack.com or CrackBerry.com for assistance.

No one here seems to be able to assist you, which is unfortunate as you can see there are many people here TRYING to help you.

And you continue to insult people. I am urging you to look elsewhere for help.

they simply said that if you can't open a command prompt, and don't know which version of windows you are running, then upgrading the OS on a blackberry is a little out of your league. you have to choose your battles man. and insulting people on a message board where you're asking for help isn't the smartest thing either.

i believe there's a saying about this... something about a hand, biting, and food?

the problem here lies between the chair and the keyboard, as they say
