I think the color pearl ONLY works on the 8100 because it was the only trackball device that had color enabled LEDs around the trackball... quite a different situation.

As far as I know, any app that has worked with the 8300 is good for the 8320; I think most that were good on the 8800 are fine on the 8300, etc.

I am running apps on my 8800 that I ran on the 7100.

The FAQ here for one. Look at Third Party Apps.
mobile.blackberry.com is another.
the Aftermarket Software section here is another...

same three places as always!

You really need to check out the FAQ's at Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ

I found this there:

How do I encode video for use on my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

You can also use Roxio Media Manager included in Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2.

Not "bad" for asking questions. It's just the the "Frequently Asked Questions" already have answers there. If you don't find your answers there or by searching the forums, surely ask away and someone here will help you out. Many times you'll find answers to questions you didn't know you had!

Hey, nothing wrong with asking questions at all, bring them on. But you'll be surprised what has been answered already.

No problem. Many hours have been put into that wiki by JSanders and Lunkhead. They've done a great job on it and we like it!
