it was fine one second and i picked it up and looked at it and all of a sudden the screens gone all weird. its bright and you can see white lines across it, kinda like a fuzzy screen. you can barely see it. its like when youre watching one of those tiny TVs on an airplane and you set it to the highest brightness, cept its worse.
anyone else had this problem and fixed it somehow?

Mike, try resetting by pulling the battery and rebooting.

I had a problem somewhat like this. Fuzzy screen with a "red" tint to everything. Pulling the battery worked until the next time it happened. I ended up trying to reinstall the OS as T Mo suggested. Didn't work. If it's under warranty still you should be able to get it replaced.

ive tried pulling out the battery and stuff, its still broken. although once i was surfing around the settings and it fixed itself for 1 second then went back to broken display. stupid phone.

I have seen this behavior a few times. It corrects when the phone is "put to sleep" and brought back up.

put to sleep? is that when the blacklight turns off? it still doesnt fix after that.

Yes. It terrified me the the first time it did it! I am sorry that yours doesn't clear. What happens when you change the theme?

This happened to my neighbors Pearl. He had to do a warranty claim. Call your carrier and see what can be done.

yea sucks, guess the only thing left to do is warranty
