Default Two Balckberry Questions

Please Login to Remove!

1. One of our users has a blackberry which is being syncronized through BES
with his mailbox. He has this weird issue where he receives a copy of each
message twice.
One arrives and the second one arrives about a minute later. Before we
installed BES
he used to synchronize with the help of T-mobile's website. I setup a
contact in AD
with his tmobile email address and every mail coming to
'jsmith@somedomain.com' would be
forwarded to this contact which was his tmobile email. From there it would
get to his BB.
I've deleted the contact from AD but still he gets 2 emails/ What else do i
need to do. Do
I need to disable the tmobile web email account?

2. Same user has problem of synchronization between his BB and his exchange
mailbox.
As far as i understand when he deletes something on his BB it should also be
deleted in
his mailbox and vice versa. But it doesn't work like that. The changes are
not being replicated
for emails but work as needed for calendar for example. Any idea what i
need to setup to fix
the issue. I notice that another user complained that cdo.dll fix didn't
work for him with a message
something like "the file on the sytem is newer than the version you are
tring to isntall". I got the same
error during the patch installation wondering if that's where my problems
are from.

Thanx a million for all the wonderful replies.

PS: running Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003/Server 2003 Standard/BES 4.1 with all
the
service packs/updates installed

1. Yes, you need to remove the account from the web client. This is where the second, delayed, copy of the e-mail message is coming from.
Log into http://www.t-mobile.com/bwc and remove the account in question.

2. Check the Options in the Messages module on the Blackberry. You probably have it set to delete on handheld only. You want to set this option to Mailbox & Handheld, or Prompt.
You also will want to enable wireless reconciliation.
Messgaes deleted from the handheld will probably take about 15 minutes to be reconciled wirelessly to the exchange mailbox.

thank you so much for such a quick and wonderful reply/
another thing that just popped up in my head is the following:

Before BES I've setup the user with Desktop Redirector. You think it might
be involved with the error. It must be because one copy comes from Exchange through BES adn another copy goes from Outlook through DR.

Also, where do you delete the account in the web interface i couldn't find the option. The only account i see there right now is [email address]
there is no option to remove it.

Wireless reconciliation is the option on the blackberry or in BES manager?

thank you
