Hi,
I am new to this forum, I have a question about telus and how things are billed as i have just signed up.

I have selected the $85 Mike + BlackBerry® Dispatch 85 plan, which supposedly includes unlimited data?

Will I be billed for any data usage, if I use a program like verichat?

Also one other little question, is PIN to PIN regardless of the network (i.e. mike to rogers) included?

No one at Telus can give me a straight answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Yup

You would be charged for any transmission you send or receive that falls into the range of "data"... which is everything but the phone.

The plan says unlimited email and wireless web.

You can confirm but unlimited is just that the ability to email and surf away with out worry of addional charges. That being said check with Telus if they have a data cap on the "unlimited" plan? Rogers customers have found out there so call "unlimited" data package is capped at 25MB

I think Bell and Telus/Mike have a 50MB data cap on their plans before they charge for additional usage. Email and PIN messages are minimal in comparison to what web and chatting will use on a data level. I would just confirmation if their is a data cap on your unlimited plan and what the cap is.
