I just moved my IT department from WM5 devices to the Blackberry. As a long time Pocket PC and WM user I must say I have been extraordinarily pleased with the curve. I had to give the Berry a chance. Some things that initially bugged me I now appreciate. This device has met or exceeded my expectations in all but two areas.

One: I really like the way Active Sync does a continuous sync. I miss this on the berry. I like to plug my phone in when I am at my desk and leave with all additions/changes synced regardless of when I place the information into my PC. (We do not have exchange or BES)

Two: When making an appointment on the berry, and requesting attendees, the attendee does not sync to outlook even when the email invitation is accepted on the berry. Not a major issue but an annoyance.

Other than these two issues I am more than pleased. The Berry has already proven itself more stable than my 8125. The only software I miss is excel which I can replace.

I'm new to the Blackberry too. Bought an 8300. I have a legal service sealing and expunging records which relies heavy on email and this tool has been awesome. The first 2 days, I was frustrated with it and the fact that the instruction manual that comes with it really sucks. Doesn't discuss the device and what it does or how to do it at all. Thanks to this forum, my initial issues have pretty much worked out and I'm loving my curve!
