Hi,
Just recently purchased a samsung wep200 bluetooth headset. The headset and the BB8100 connect and pair fine. Problem is that the microphone works, but the speaker does not. Is this a problem with how it pairs and the configuration or is it a defective product and I should get it replaced? And how can I tell if the product is defective?

You can tell if it's defective if it doesn't function the way it is supposed to. I would suggest, bring it back to where you purchased the BT headset from and request for a replacement. You should have no problem getting a replacement especialy if you just purchased it recently.
