mms problem - picture didnt get retrieved
Please Login to Remove!
Okay, so I am out of town and the girl sent me a picture... well, after numerous times attempting to 'retreieve' the picture it finally 'worked'... the problem is the picture is blank (didn't come through). So, my problem now is that I no longer have the retrieve option to download the image again.
How can I get the picture without having her resend it?
I tried logging onto tmobilepictures.com, but nothing was there...

I've had that problem lately too. I can send mms pix, can't receive them sometimes. It's a tmoblile problem specific to the pearl according to them. I made the mistake of calling them and they had me mess around with my phone forever. Don't go there! One problem is the CS people cannot send you mms pix to test it out, only email attachments. There is supposed to be a new OS coming out the tmobile today.

I don't know why everyone has been having this problem. I get every single picture with no problem first try!

I get this problem often. Usually when I receive the initial messaging saying I have a picture, then go and retrieve it. This is more typically when I am floating in and out of service, and have poor reception.
I usually send them back and request that they email it to one of the email accounts I have setup on my BlackBerry. So far it's worked 100%.

I have had this issue occur quite often with my Pearl. I called t-mobile on it and they talked to the RIM people and said that they haven't had the complaint before... However, they said they were gonna look into it and have it fixed in the next couple days... but alas..no luck for me :-/

T-Mobile CS is ignorant. They go by the book. I know for a FACT it happens frequently.
Higher-up they are more knowledgeable about the problem, but there are no fixes or explanations. It's pretty much up to you.
Email is my only suggestion, as like I said. Works 100% in comparison.

I was having the same problem until about a week ago. My previous calls to T-Mo tech support had resulted in the answer of a "known issue," but I got lucky on my last call. TS rep was very helpful and recommended this:
-from home screen hold Shift and type LGLG.
-the Event Log should open with (Debug Info) next to it. If you see Warning or Information in () next to Event Log, go to Menu, Options, then click pearl and select Debug Info.
-go back to Event Log, hit Menu and then Clear Log
-head back to home screen
Haven't had any issues since doing this... TS rep also recommended clearing the log every week or two.
Hope this helps.
