I have selected and saved the option for "mute" on my trackball "Audible Roll" clicks and yet it still clicks along just as it does on the "click" setting. Has anyone else experienced this and have you got a creative workaround?

mine makes a noise similar to my apple mighty mouse trackball....it a gentle clicking....i like it not loud enough for anyone else to hear but show its turning and how much...i think it is the sound of quality but others seem to disagree but i have no complaints about my curve trackball or its sound as yet.

You must have some sensitive hearing as even at the loudest the sound from the trackball is barely audible

My trackball is quite loud, I have a Mighty Mouse and it sounds nothing like that. More like random clicking while rolling it around. It doesn't really bother me too much, but the dust getting inside the screen does. So since I'm within my 30 days, I'll probably be exchanging it.
