Wow, people carrying around BlueTooth keyboards with their BlackBerries, just seems strange that if someone wanted to carry every part, why not just get a tiny notebook, etc.

The new keyboard is from Moftware Technologies and it is branded as "Amzer." Several of the Moftware partner sites will have it available as of May 26, 2005. It will retail for $249.00 US. I'll stick with SureType!

$249 to carry around a keyboard. Thanks. I'll stick with the 7290 keyboard.

called blackberrystuff AKA moftware
They say it is definitely compatible with the 7100 series, the driver comes on the CD that ships with it.
Rock 'n roll baby.

I know I'm not the only one who's thinking... "What's the point of a bluetooth keyboard for the Blackberry?"

It's good for those times you want to leave the laptop behind, and be able to reply to larger emails, as well as do word processing with eWord on BlackBerry.
The point of the keyboard is to leave the laptop behind, for the more heavy-duty stuff. BlackBerries are being used for more than just short emails nowadays, and other applications like word processing and spreadsheets, etc.

Interesting.....
so.. if I get a bluetooth keyboard to be able to use on my BB... wouldn't I still be
looking at the small screen just to do my eWord?
wouldn't I still be looking at those REALLY SMALL LETTERS when I look at my directory on my eFILE?
I have eOffice and frankly.. it is not something I wanna use to do huge report on my business.. huge keyboard or not.... Unless I'm a SLUG riding on a TURTLE!!!! *get the joke?**
It gives me a headache inputing datas on my eCell...
I'd probably get one for collection.. hehehe..
