Default NEW Blackberry User...Stupid ?s I'm Sure...

Please Login to Remove!

OK Guys and Gals...
I've been snooping around here for a bit, and decided to buy an 8700g with Tmobile. I'm a current Dash user and hate it.
Here are my questions:

I have 2 Email Accounts that I'd like to setup on my BB. Both are OWA accounts. One is through my work and one is my personal account through mail2web.com. My work account doesn't have Pop3 or smtp access, but my personal account does.

1. Do I have to setup the "blackberry.net" account if I dont want to setup another email account? After doing some research, I feel like this account is just setup to have all my accounts forwarded into that one account. I want to keep both email accounts separate. Even if I have to manually sync the emails, and they aren't directly "pushed" to me, I'm OK with that.

2. Can I have both of these accounts setup on my BB without them being combined into one account?

3. My personal account has all of my contacts saved with phone numbers. Can I just have those numbers saved to my BB? My current Dash syncs with those contacts, and I do not have them on my SIM.

4. If I am able to have both accounts setup separately, will my folders inside my inbox also be downloaded? And will my sent items also be saved?

Sorry if these are stupid questions...
Thanks for your help...

1. No. You can get your separate accounts through BIS and keep them separate.

2. See above.

3. Yes, you can do that, but you'll need to sync your Dash to your PC and then use BlackBerry Desktop Manager to sync them to your BB.

4. No/Yes.

Thanks!
So I won't need to create a "blackberry account"?

I'm mostly concerned with my work email. While i'm in the office, I will be using my computer to access the https://owa.XXXX.com website. That is where I do all of my emailing. Then when I am on the road, I will be using my BB. When I read, send, delete emails on my BB will they automatically show on my computer? Will I always have to sync, or is it done through "Push" email?

Lastly, will I have to setup these accounts thru the tmobile website, also?

May I ask why you disliked the Dash?

How is your 8700g working out as in service and battery life for you?

Easy answer, wm is too unstable and dash battery life cant touch the blackberry.

No, you can get e-mail without it.

As far as two-way syncing, that may or may not occur. Your e-mail will be pushed, but there will be a delay, and things you read on your BB may or may not show up as read in OWA. However, when you delete something from the device and select the proper option it will be deleted from Outlook.
