Default Upgrade from 4.1.2 to 4.4.4 and MDS

Please Login to Remove!

I upgraded our BES server from 4.1.2 to 4.1.4 and MDS is no longer working Blackberry manager. when I click on https://servername:7443/mds it keeps asking me to import a certificate and after logging in it says error retrieving data from server. The confusing part is I can manually go to https://servername:7443/mds in internet explorer and it will work fine and after importing the certifcate. However it does not work in Blackberry manager.

I already tried jks-genertate.bat which had fixed the MDS issue I had previously on version 4.1.2 after a repair.

hi.
I have the same problem on my BES'es. I remember reading somewhere that this was a bug in the BES Admin console. To be honest, it makes no difference to MDS so we just don't bother and always use IE now to open it directly!

They dont like to tell you, but.... you have it enabled for HTTPS now. Your options are to use HTTPS, or try and figure out how the heck to turn it off. There is a bug in 1+ versions of the BES patches that if you chose HTTP... it installed HTTPS, and vice versus. Doh! Same thing happened to me on my servers.

what was your upgrade path? I have two BES servers, BES 4.1 SP2 , running SQL 2000 for share BES DB, Exchange 2003 SP2 and we are going to upgrade to 4.1 SP4.
