Default Trackball Trouble

Please Login to Remove!

Alright my phone is about 7 months old and today all of a sudden i cant get my trackball to go left. Any suggestions to clean it... or do i need to call Tmobile and tell them they need to give me a new phone?

type in "trackball cleaning" in the search function and you will have plenty of reading to do for the 8100

SanFran has a great how to for trackball disassembly.

Except, rather than coloring in the LED with a sharpie, use like rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip to clean off the trackball.

In the meantime....if you press the trackball down firmly and roll the direction that you are having the issue it should dislodge what ever is blocking the roller. That should get you through until you can clean it!

Yeah thanks for the push hard and turn. Whatever was holding my track ball from spinning correctly is gone and now it works perfectly fine
