Just bought a 7230. I half expected to find more fields in the address records and more or a match for the fields in Outlook but all seems unchanged from my trusty 5820. I would like to ask a few questions:

when I try to map Outlook's date-of-birth (or anniversary) to any of the handheld's user defined fields it will not let me,

Ideally my address/contact's date-of-birth should register in calendar with an automatic reminder - how would I go about doing this (third-party software)?,

I am currently using the BB just as a phone, sms device and pda so is there much to benefit from upgrading both BB and desktop software to version 4 and if so how do I upgrade the BB?
