Hey all...
I just purchased a Pearl yesterday after having the 8703 for a little while. I like the device for the most part, but I am wondering if someone can help me out. When I try and unlock my keypad instead of just being able to click on the "Unlock" button it makes me do that and then press the * and the green send button. Is there someway that I can just click unlock and not have to press the other two buttons?

That is the way it is. There is no fix for that. It's so that you don't inadvertanly unlock it while it's in your pocket.

You could always use the other alternative keyboard lock... hold the mute button.

If you put the Pearl in standby mode can you still receive incoming phone calls?

Yes, you will still receive calls and hear notifications for messages, etc.
