Do you have the Rogers OS installed? Tmo-Germany is an older release. The Rogers is still the most up-to-date.
If you have the Rogers OS installed, your phone won't recognize this one.

That's true, however, for some reason the DM is sensing that the Rogers is newer. I'm sure that if you uninstalled the Rogers version, deleted the vendor.xml and connected it, it would load. If the Rogers version is already loaded on the device and you attempt to load this version it will likely say "downgrade." I don't have a device to test so someone who wants to try it out can post back.

^^ yeah, however there was an issue with the cingular OS where many peoples browser service books werent working. This is fixed in the o2 software and perhapse this one?

So people on t-mobiles w/ unlocked curves with BIS can't surf the web??!? I guess that forces me to stick with att ..eek, I don't have access to a bes.

... I think it has been mentioned many many times, but with the proper software installed the 8300 works flawlessly on t-mobile on both BIS and BES for web browsing and everything else.
Right now the o2 software works best. Hopefully someone else will be able to test this new OS over the weekend.

correct......the problem occurs with the AT&T OS on a Unlocked CURVE on Tmobile..... with the o2 os its fine....
someone try this OS and let us know if you have your browser on tmobile, and if it fixes any glitches!
