Hi All,

I was looking at the Cingular website for getting a Blackberry 8800, and a bit confused about plans/services I need to get. They have a data plan called:

"BlackBerry Internet Service Plan" $29.99

and a service as:

"Blackberry Personal Plan" ($34.99)

Do I need to get both and why? Doesn't "BlackBerry Internet Service Plan" cover both?

Can someone please explain what the difference is between these 2 and what I need to get ?

hey whats up ... From Cingular / at&t you can use the Blackberry Internet Service for 29.99 and that will cover everything Blackberry related except Enterprise Activation and Text messages. It includes Unlimited Data , push up to 10 email accounts , and cover Internet access. You can also upgrade to the Blackberry Unlimited All4 and get 1500 text messages included for $10.00 more .... hope that helps.

The unlimited BIS plan (personal plan) is $34.99. If you have a qualifying voice plan, 450 mins/month I think, then it is $29.99.

It's the same plan -- just different pricing as Dubdub has pointed out.

What about using 3rd party software that requires to use APN? Is that included in Cingular unlimited BIS personal plan for $34.99 w/o voice plan? Or extra hidden charge?
