Default exporting list of applications?

I have kind of a weird question. Right now, we don't block third party downloads by IT Policy, but are considering doing so. My management wants a list of third party apps that users have already put on their devices (users were told not to.) So, is there any way to do this? I figure there may be a way in the handheld configuration tool, but I don't see an obvious way to do it.

It's going to depend on your BES and service pack version, but (in 4.1.2) I suspect that you might be able to get an idea from the SQL table SyncDeviceManagement. It looks like it contains details of what's on the handheld (modules, programs, service books, etc.). Have a look at the records in there with TableId=2 (which look like programs). Obviously this would be everything, not just third-party downloads, and as I don't think it's officially documented I'm guessing as to the content.

I'm sure that some of the regular BES reporting tools could do this too - you'd be out of the realm of guesswork then.

Anybody have any recommendations for a BES reporting tool?
