Default Charge Faster: Charger or USB Cable

What charges the battery faster the charger or the usb cable? Or is there no difference.

The wall charger is much faster.

The wall charger is usually the guaranteed way to charge the fastest.

However, assuming you directly connect your BlackBerry to a fully powered desktop computer (bypass all USB hubs, unless they're good powered ones), and you've got all drivers installed, and the lightning bolt icon, then the desktop computer should charge equally as fast. At least, in theory.

Both the travel charger and the USB port should put out 500 mA. You should get the same charge time on both.

I dont notice much difference with mine. Then again, I mainly use the USB port though.
