Default T-Mobile to Cingular Change

Please Login to Remove!

Before people tells me to use the search feature, I have been doing it for the last 4 hours.

I am new to the forum and I got a question that I couldn't find an answer:

I have a BB 7100 from Cingular given to me by the company, they have the BES Server.

I wanted the 8100 and I bought a phone off eBay that was said to be unlocked. It happens that the phone was not unlocked, and I had to purchase an unlock service from a person off eBay. It did work and accepted my SIM card.

After that, I couldn't access the Internet, and I followed the instructions of this website and I registered the device with BIS and now I have access to the net.

Now, I am trying to do the enterprise activation to work and the darn thing does not work. It says that an error has ocurred and I should contact my administrator.

I have the password and I don't know what else to do, do you guys have any suggestions on how to get it activated with the BES? Do they need to do something there, since the PIN has changed?

Any help would be welcome.

It may have an old IT policy still on it. Check out this thread for removing an old IT policy: http://www.blackberryforums.com/blac...=remove+policy

To connect to your corporate network, do this:

Go into Options / Advanced Options and select Enterprise Activation
Enter the E-Mail address and password given to you by your network administrator at work.

If that does not work, contact your local IT support team.

You need to supply the new pin to the person who handles the Bes, he or she needs to change it on the Bes. Then actavate the BB.

Default So there's an association between the PIN and the Activation?

Thanks for the info, I will have to wait until tomorrow to speak with the person there. Darn it.
