Have you done at least three battery resets?

Do you have a headset and does that work?

There's lots of things to check.

First things first, did you delete the old OS and also the xml file BEFORE installing .69?

If not, do it now, completely remove the OS and XML.

Then reinstall .69.

Make sure you let it intall, the "hourglass" spins for a long time, on mine it was 15 minutes on reboot.

...also, there is a newer version than .69 out now too. You might just upgrade to it and see if that fixes your problem....

make sure you delete the "vendor.xml" only.

sounds like your speaker went if you cant hear any music or ringtones out of it. sorry to say but things like that are not really software issues.

I have the same problem right now; even though my speakerphone works fine both ways on a call, my phone does not ring nor can I hear playback of audio files. Also, when placing a call, I hear nothing in the headset untill the person I'm calling picks up, i.e., no ring. This leads me to believe it is not the speaker itself but a software issue. Any thoughts?
