As I use my Pearl to more and more browse the web, etc, I find myself battling a very annoying feature that I don't know how to turn off.

Every time I'm entering text in a text field, whether in SureType or MultiTap mode, the thing wants to capitalize the first word, even if I choose the non-cap word from the SureType list. This is VERY annoying sunce some usernames and other web entries are case sensitive. Anyone know how to turn this "feature" off?

Old post, but I'm going to necro it to find an answer to this. I have the same problem and it's getting tiring.

I couldn't find any way to disable this "feature", but I've discovered that if you press enter and then delete after typing a word, it reverts to lowercase.

This trick also works to override a word that's on the AutoText list, except you have to press space to trigger AutoText replacement and then press delete twice to undo it, then space once more to move on.

yeap, that's what i do, i hate the first letter in uppercase too :P
