Interesting...I wonder what (if any) signficant changes are made in this release? I will have to download and install it once I get home.

Seems like I cannot delete my callback number from the SMS menu now. I delete it and save it, but it keeps coming back

jeff, go to Screen/Keyboard options.

it does remove some themes, i believe. you'll have to install Zen, etc. through the OTA links.

it also includes the mysterious 219 theme, aka the Rolling Stones theme. i've yet to see this enabled, although i've found it elsewhere. if anyone notices this (might need Zen as a pre-req), take a screenshot and attach it to a post - i'm curious.

well, when I did the install I added Dimension Today which is the theme I've used for the past couple months.

when I switch themes back to Dimension Icon, the middle soft key is back to launching the browser. So this appears to be the first 'glitch' as far as I'm concerned (thanks for the advice but Screen/Keyboard options doesn't have anything for the soft key)

edit..

ok, I added Dimension Zen and it does the same thing... in any of the traditional icon themes it launches the browser though

edit again..

ok, there's no "convenience key opens" option in the Dimension Today or Dimension Zen theme

While I find the overall performance better, this is pretty much something I might consider switching back to the previous version for - although it might be something wrong with the Today and Zen theme itself, perhaps that will be updated somehow with a different .cod file?

I'm using the Zen theme and I still have the option to Change the convenience key setting.

Default Webmessenger Alert issue?

I just did the upgrade, and the Webmessenger Alerts app is still installed, but it won't open or function. Does anyone else have this app installed and working with this upgrade?

I thought that because BB's were used by the government that there could not be any undocumented features.

I installed this one on my Bell 7130. It seems a little bit faster and my Dimension - Icon theme now shows "EVDO" correctly rather than the squiggily lines. I did lose the Zen theme that I had to reinstall. Just for a point of reference I came from the Sasktel version.

I'm finding much better performance from the Zen theme with this update. The lag time is almost totally gone.

I'm currently data-challenged.

Does the upgrade come with Zen themes or anything else of use to someone without data?
