"Weird" thing is I was charged 35.99 for each card. Lucky me I guess.

I got two as well.. best price I could find.

But for everyone else interested, the 10$ rebate ends on the 23rd so you've got until Saturday.

I didn't get a 1GB, but I don't really need that much storage yet. I copped a 512mb MicroSD at Walmart for $19.96 - couldn't pass that up.

Wow. I am so pissed off now haha. I went to best buy last week and saw it for $79.99 and was about to buy it, but my friend said she would give me a $10 gift card because she's been meaning to get rid of it. So I went home, checked it online and found the extra $10 off. I thought that was great paying $59.99 for a 1 gb microsd. Bought it, found it for $49.99 on newegg.com, so I returned it to best buy and ordered off newegg. THEN, I found one on ebay for $37.75 shipped, so I bought that one and am about to return the one to newegg. AND NOW ITS AT BEST BUY FOR FREAKING $34.99. ARGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Yea man...it sucks when all this stuff comes out. You get excited wanting to get everything for it. And you pay top dollar for it, and then it goes down the next week. lol

Kinda like the "6 month rule" when it comes to computers.

yeah except for Mac's

In 2001 I bought a powerbook for $2,500 and I just purchased a MacBook Pro in July for $2,500
6 Month's from now the MacBook Pro will still be $2,500 Lol, and nothing would have changed on the computer except a few tweaks and updates.

Doing a search will yield the answers.

Anyways, it's 1GB. There's speculation of a future firmware update that will unlock it to 2GB.

NewEgg.com already has 4GB SD cards, so any firmware update ought to be unlimited.

Yeah, but the 8100 takes microSD cards, which are limited to 2GB for now.

Today was the last day for the sale, according to the guy at BestBuy. $34.99 after a $10 rebate. He said that the sale just included the rebate. $45 is still a pretty good deal.

EDIT: Dunno about you guys, but mine came with a shell to make it regular SD.

Thanks poo.productions! Picked up what I think was the last one at my Best Buy yesterday.

And, yep, mine came with a shell for using an SD card reader.

i have the MobileMate 5.0 (which I bought from best buy) and I dont even need to use the shell, it reads microSD, miniSD, and regular SD cards. It is only 19.95, so if ya'll are interested go get it. It is the best invention since sliced bread and peanut butter :D
