Has anyone else had this problem? when I get a missed call and then delete the missed call message in messages the missed call icon doesn't disappear on the home screen. It did on the 8700 7290 etc ...

I'm having same problem. Checked all call logs (and folders) and cannot find the "supposed" missed message...

You have to change your Phone app to display something other thatn "Phone Log". Right now you'll need to hit talk and get Phone app to notice the missed call.

That doesn't seem to work.

I'm having the same issue. Have tried rebooting, deleting all of my messages, dialing from phone log, dialing from address book, reconciling from the handset, syncing from desktop manager.

Anyone had any luck with this?

I am having the same problem too, I am beginning to think this is a bug in the os or theme. There is an old thread that says to call the BB and let it register the missed call and then delete it but so far that hasn't worked for me.

Agreed, that's a no-go, as I have missed a couple of calls and deleted them, still there.
