Default Amazing to Me!

Please Login to Remove!

I just went to a tm store here in Austin andthe guy working there thought the thing was supposed to come out next Monday. They didnt have one open to mess with and the guy had not taken the online class that all employees are supposed to take. It is amazing to me that a company that has a product like this coming out seems to be sooooo far off the mark on this release. It seems that they were counting on all the online chatter to sell phones.

I stopped by Cingular and they were happy to tell me 4 new phones were due out in september and two more including the Nokia E62 were due out in October along with the fact that advertising should coincide with the release dates. This just reinforces my original decision to stay with Cingular and wait for the 8100 or even better.

Were you around when the 8700 launched. Reminded me of four fumbles in one play at high school football.

Bought 2 @ 8100's this morning in Houston.

I called 4 stores to find one that received 8100's - they had 15 units for sale. The store did not have a demo but the salesman opened a box and inserted my SIM once he knew that I was really interested.
