Default Verizon 7100 got wet getting error.

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

I have a client that dropped his Verizon 7100 in the creek. It powers up but gets a device 348 error. Any idea what that is? I thought of wiping the device, but have not tried anything yet.

suggestions?

First pull the thing apart and make sure it is dry. Might leave it overnight to completely dry out. Then, use JL_cmdr to wipe the unit completely and reload the OS. If this doesn't help, you have ruined the battery (see link below) or one of the connections.

if you have some of the silica bags that come with Electronics , if put them & your blackberry in a ziplock bag and let it sit in there for a day it could help.

Anyone successfully returned a error 348 bberry to life? Doesnt seems to boot up enough for javaloader or bberry manager to detect it...
