7130 Verizon stuck
Please Login to Remove!
7130 with Verizon. Has worked perfectly for several months. Now seems to be constant searching to send data. Blue arrow in upper right corner flashing in the upper (outgoing) direction. All outgoing calls fail. Incoming do not get through at all and no way to send emails. Is there a reset of some sort that may help? Any help greatly appreciated.

Did you try re-registering?
options-advanced-host routing tables
click wheel and select register now

Thanks - I just tried it and no change. Still shows 4 messages even though I cleared them some time ago so it is still stuck.

Have you added or changed anything on the device?
The following are some things that have worked for me that you might have already tried.
1.) pulling battery and replacing
2.) Dial *22899
3.) Resending service books
4.) re-registering
If those don't work call data support 888-308-5005 and tell them your problem and that you have done the above.

I had a similar issue back in March - does it also run the battery down quicky?
They ended up sending me a new unit.

Make sure it is actually a NEW unit and not a referb, since it is a recent purchase.

Yes, excellent pickup. For the last couple of days, the battery was drainin very quickly. Neither I nor Verizon could figure out the problem. They are sending me a refurbished unit. Thanks to all for your suggestions.

They tell me that they will only give a new unit if the purchase is less than 30 days - I am just a bit longer.

Sometimes the guts are the problem. I received a referb where the speaker was non working. I sent it back to verizon and told them I would not accept it.
