my boss wants to get the company 7 or 8 more blackberry devices for the company. he wants to know if we get that amount, would there be a group discount from any carrier like cingular, t-mobile, or sprint. if not, i guess we just have to get same rate as individual plan. if anyone know, please let me know. thx in advance.

There are people on this forum talking about their experience talking down prices at different service providers while buying just one phone. If he's buying eight of them, he should approach like he's talking to a car salesman.

If you are interested in getting New contract with sprint/nextel and 18% discount on monthly charges on all of those 7 or 8 plans, I can give you that through my business. It will be under corporate plan.

I have to prequalify you though and make sure that your boss will get approved first.

A lot of carriers will offer discounts for multiple BBs. You need to check the different carriers and see who will give you a good deal. Of course, you do need to make sure they have good coverage and CS. The carrier preference discussion is always an interesting one. I receive a substantial discount on my device (90%) and data due to large contract.
