I have been all over the forum looking for this issue, without any luck - sorry if I've missed it,

The problem I'm having is this:

• I make a new appointment on my BB - say for 11am
• I synch using Desktop manager
• The appointment appears in Outlook, but at 10am

This always happens - it goes back an hour each time when I synch in Outlook.

The problems does not happen in reverse (outlook to BB)

Both Outlook and the BB have the time set to London/Dublin GMT and the start/finish time for each day is the same.

I am on T-Mo Uk, BIS.

Can anyone help me please?

i thought that the Calander syncing was only possible with BES...Maybe i am wrong.

Actually, it can be done wired.

Make sure the your time zone in Outlook, Windows, and on the Blackberry are all set the same and correct.

As I said in my original posting, all is set to GMT and all is reading the same time.

Check on both the Hand Held Calendar Options and the PC Outlook Calendar settings to make sure DST on/off is set to Automatic on both. Either that or set them both to the same (Correct for your situation, if your location doesn't change/change at the normal time) setting.

I can sync my calendar, contacts, and tasks even unwired with bluetooth using desktop manager and Outlook 2003.

I suppose the BB and the PC at set at the correct time beforehand and the PC has the British Summertime adjustment set corretly in windows. Check that you not set on the PC for Eurpean and/or US contry zones.

I'm sure it will but I can't find anything calles DST (Daylight saving time?) on the handheld, either in Calendar Options or Settings/options.Date/Time options.

However, I did find something called 'request time' and when I did it moved the time forward one hour. This leads me to suspect that the time setting itself is wrong, and hasn't taken British summertime into account. I've selected 'Azores' time instead - GMT minus one hour - which gives me the correct time, and I'll see if this makes a difference.

feeling like a complete prat now. It was the time on my PC - I hadn't set it for Summertime and, since I never look at the clock, hadn't noticed it was running an hour behind. Thanks to all who helped me get there...

Jennifer had the same issue, ALL of your times have to be right for a proper synch.

I seem to be having the same problem... except mine are going 1 hour AHEAD. I have the DST patch applied to my blackberry. I also installed patches for windows and exchange. All my times seem to be correct... anyone else have any ideas ? Thanks.

Edit: I noticed that when I re-run the Tzmove.exe for Outlook Client Calendar it finds the entry i made from the Blackberry and fixes it. The blackberry kept the RIGHT time while i was playing around with it. I forced reconcile to make sure.
