I have an addressbook on a BB 7730 under Desktop Manager v.4.0.1.12 that I want to move to a BB 8700g under Desktop Manager v.4.1.0.10. I tried restoring it to my new one from the old one's backup, but it doesn't recognize the format. I have 2000 addresses I need to move. Anyone have an answer or some suggestions

Any way for you to synchronize the addresses from the old device to MS Outlook, then from Outlook to the new device?

I tried that, but I think that since the majority of those address were synchronized from a Exchange Server connection (BES) from a former employer, that they cannot by synched to my pop outlook setup.

I see the contacts on the BB7730, but I cannot move them from the unit short of the backup.
