Question I am getting a new BB, what model is best?

Please Login to Remove!

Please help!

I have a 7100g BB and will be upgrading soon. I hear that the 8700 series keys are tight together and a little tricky to punch. Please advise.

Thank you.

Depends on what you like...screen/speed are unbeatable on the 8700 but some people love the 7100 smarttype and small form factor. The 7520 has the GPS and direct connect, so it all depends on what you are into. Personally, I have had 7510/7520/7210/7280/7290/7100/8700 and the 8700 is light years ahead of the rest!

I have no frame of reference since the 8700 is my first BB but I have no problems typing.

Your best bet is to go to a Cingular store and try it out, you will see for youself.

You are in the 8700 section so most replies here will say to get the 8700. That said, get the 8700.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I have big thumbs and have no trouble typing on it. The 7290 is a bit bigger. Head down to local store and try them both then decide. The 8700 is hands down the best BB to date! Best of luck!
