I am using a few different themes currently and bouce back and forth since no one of them does exactly what I want it to do font/background wise.

Anyway, I noticed today (may have been ongoing and never noticed) that on the standby screen the "Reminder" icon is there indicating I have 1 reminder waiting review. This is fine, however after several false alarms I find that I have not had any reminders to look at. Once the standby is cleared with any key stroke, wheel turn or esc hit that icon goes away.

I may have just missed this lately since when I pull it out of the holster it clears the standby where today I had it sitting on my desk all day...

So, could this be the theme (currently MacBerry) or other? I am not sure what actually calls that icon to the screen.

I found that "ghost" reminders when the bb is locked is solved by

..drum roll..

remove/rinsert battery

yeah!

You know I did not do the the hard reset but it just went away yesterday sometime. Awefully strange. I am sitting here now at the standby screen and all looks normal again.

Got to love those phantom bugs.
