Default Separating Pictures from the main library

Please Login to Remove!

Forum,

I have recently acquired the blackberry bold/touch 9900. I have been able to create new folders within the pictures section however despite using the 'cut' and 'paste' function from the main picture library, it still stores the pictures in the library folder as well as the newly created folder. This appears to be new to OS7.

I am wondering whether it is possible to stop this from happening and have the pictures solely in the folder i've copied them to?

I am unable to locate any such controls/settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

When I open the Photo viewer, I have the option of looking through all the photos on my media card or looking through an individual folder. I only see all my photos if I choose that option. All I can suggest, is when saving them, make sure that you save them in the folder you want, (Copy and Paste works as well), connect your device to a PC and create and organize your photos if you have to. It does work on the BB itself.

There is a way to delete them from the "picture folder" and still leave them in the created folder. the link has the info on page 152.
