I bought the Blackberry Bold 9990 on a contract and I've only had the phone for 2 weeks, and I'm already having problems with it. When i used to send texts, it would send them instantly without problems, now it can take up to 30 seconds just to send it, and it doesn't always send it. Also, sometimes I only receive a text from someone when I've sent them one. For example, my friend texts me 1 hour ago, I text them now.. and as that text sends, I receive the one I was meant to get an hour ago. So all in all, I don't know if somebody has text me unless I text them? I've reset the phone, searched the internet and have had no luck. It's not the area either, it's the same everywhere.

Have you tried a battery pull?

Have you called your carrier(ook from your profile) to see if they are having any problems on their end?

SMS is usually a carrier network problem. Are you in an area with strong cell coverage from your carrier?

As devnull suggests, do a battery pull. If that doesn't work, then call your carrier.

I've done a battery pull several times, and it's not my area It's always been fine.. so i'll have to call my carrier?
