Default Removing programs on blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hey there,

Need some assistance. I'm a new blackberry user and I have downloaded a bunch of programs on my blackberry, some trial crap and games and whatnot. I want to uninstall them but they don't show up in the blackberry desktop as installed programs. How do I get rid of these unwanted programs???

PS. I was also wondering how to get rid of some of the unused icons on my blackberry, possible?

Thanks

You can goto "Settings/Advanced Options/Applications" Wheel click the app, and choose Delete. To hide icons on the main page hold "Alt" and Wheel click the app and choose hide.

Either that or you can use the Desktop manager to uninstall.

From the BB goto options-->Then advanced options---> Then Applications. You will see a list of all the applications on your BB. Press the trackwheel and select delete.

You can hide the icons on the homescreen you do not want to see by pressing ALT key and the trackwheel. Select the icon you want and then select hide. To undo select show all.

I want to uninstall it, but not sure if deleting it will do. thanks

Just go to option, advance option, and application, uninstall goole map....it is a full uninstallation, it wont use up any of the fone memory after you uninstall it!!! so...dun worry!

Suggest reinstalling it OTA over top of your current installation. You will then find it in the Applications menu. (The alternative is to go into Modules and delete from there but it's a little more complicated because there are a few relevant ones).

I've the same problem with midp2 jar/jad files that I converted in
alx/cod format with bb jde tools rapc and that I upload to my bb (8700f)
via the usb cable and JavaLoader tools. They are not listed in the application
menu, so I don't know how to remove them.

Any ideas ?

Try this command from a DOS prompt:

javaloader -usb erase APP_NAME.cod
