Default 9700 cannot reboot

Please Login to Remove!

Dear BB Experts,

Here is the issue, after I deleted one blackberry app and was asked to reboot, the screen stops with 'T-Mobile' shown. I tried taking out of the battery, sim card, media card and turned it, but the problem exists.
Also I tried in vain to use Blackberry desktop Software to connect to the devise. The computer does not recognize my 9700.

How to solve this problem? Anyone has the same issue in the past? Much appreciated someone can help me. Also I have a question, my devise is a T-mobile, but I am using Mobilicty as carrier for service, what version of software to download if I have to download.

What app did you delete?

With the device ON, did you remove the battery?

If it won't connect, see the yellow sticky at the top of the Help Section.

You could als Google BBSAK and install it and see if that will connect.

For your question, you can run any carrier's OS on your device as long as it is made for it. All OS' come from RIM. If you are trying to remove the T-Mobile splash screen, you can't do that as it is hard-coded into the device.

If you were running some illegal/blackmarket software in an attempt to "de-brand" your 9700, then you did what most folks did when running this software and ruined it.

Thanks, I downloaded a HK version(T-mobile USA does not allow me to download unless I offer a T-mobile phone number)(I need input Chinese), and successfully reinstalled the software for the devise, though taking a lot of time.
