I recently purchased a blackberry curve with koodo and my plan has the $15 base price with the side "blackberry social" and the "unlimited messaging". Before i purchased the phone i asked the Representative some questions.
- i asked if the unlimited text and picture messaging gave me as many text messages as i want and if i can send picture text messages. with no extra charge. the Representative told me that i can text as much as i want and i can send pictures over text messages. These turned out to be false.
And
- i asked the representitive if it was cdma or not, the representitive told me that it was not a cdma phone so if i wanted i could switch to another company but it turns out it is not...

it is quite a big deal for me because i own a tshirt manufacturing company and need to send pictures to my customers and most do not have a blackberry.

i need to know what i can do because i am past my 14days and whatever amount of text messages to return it.

Did you get any of that in writing?

Also, your profile shows an 9700. Is that the device your purchased? If so, that's not a Curve and it's a GSM device. If you are are talking about a different device, what model number?

Why did you wait past the 14 day period if this feature was so important to you and your business?

i did not get any of it in writing unfortunatly.
no i actually have the blackberry curve 8530...
(i was planning on getting the 9700 but got the 8530 instead, just havent changed it...)
i waited more than 14 days because i trusted that what the rep said was correct and it took me a bit to get used to the the phone.

You can try and plead with them to help you out by taking it back, but you're totally at their mercy.
