Hi,
since the update to these version i got two problems.

1) connecting the blackberry 9520 the automatic syncronisation does not start!

2) sync of planed tasks (aufgaben) make mistake. If no date is set, a wrong date, example 13.12.2093, is made by program.

Hints for me ?

IMHO, DM 6 is not ready for prime time yet. Too many strange and wonky things happening. I tried it for several days to give it a fair shake, but ended up uninstalling it and going back to DM 5.

What is "aufgaben" ?

I was hoping it would solve the Outlook 2010 issues, but alas, I still have problems. I cannot sync all my contacts from my BlackBerry to Outlook. Only a dozen or so transfer over, and another 10 show up as "suggested contacts" without names or phone numbers. Only email addresses on these suggested contacts.

So I guess we're back to waiting. Now we need the fix for the fix.

Another bug that I am finding with DM 6.0.0.46 (and did not experience with any previous version of the software) is that, at least for me, it is resetting my home screen image back to the default after each and every snyc.

I have a 9000 Bold and snyc with outlook (calendar, memopad, address book and tasks). These seem to snyc just fine.

However, after each and every sync is complete the home screen image on the Bold is reset back to the Rogers screen image.

I have read posts on this issue with respect to previous versions of the Desktop Manager and it has been suggested that NOT having the screen image file located on the device memory can lead to problems of this sort.

But my image file IS on the device memory and is located in the default directory.

When I look at the image file on my Bold it "thinks" that it is the home screen image even after the snyc.

I have found two unacceptable (at least to me!) work arounds to this.

First, I can select, within Options, another Theme and then reselect the Theme I want (with the screen image I want) and then everyting is fine (until the next sync).

Or second, I can select another image file to be the home screen image and then reselect the image file I want to be the home screen image and then everyting is fine (until the next sync).

Both these workarounds solve the problem but it is hassle to do this each and every time I do a snyc (I sync over two desktops and a laptop).

Anybody else experience this or know what the bleep I am doing wrong?

backup browser cache.
