After reading some google articles on "vip pin numbers", it amazes me why people are caring/paying so much for this particular 8 digit number. I mean, why are the focusing on the PIN? I suppose the next VIP number could be the MAC or IMEI...

Must be something in the water! Folks from Dubai are maniacs for vanity PINs.

It's cause the got nothing better to do with their money. Supposedly there's an ATM somewhere in Dubai that deals in gold....GOLD for god's sake!! Therefore, they have all that disposable income to pay for a "VIP pin" haha.

If they got that much money, I hear there are planets for sale that can be personalized.. Maybe even with it's own vanity planet PIN.
