I ave a strange error, that is most probably a software bug, since I could reproduce the same error on several devices:

It is impossible to forward a contact card from my contacts database to a BBM contact, unless there is data in the first/last name fields.

In other words, if you have a contact card fro a, say, a restaurant, where the name is entered in the company name field, and you have no first/last names, then you cannot send the contact card to your chosen BBM contact.

Anyone with the same, or insight on a workaround?

I have quite a few business contacts like this. I was able to select a business from the address book and "send to messenger contact".

EDIT: that is using 8310 to 8310 OS v4.5

Would anyone try to send a contact where only the company is filled (no entry in the first/last name) to a BBM member and see if it works?

I tried this on two of my devices, and it wouldn't send. Sends only the contacts where the first/last field is populated.
