Default SD card works on Blackberry but cannot be detected as a drive on PC.

Please Login to Remove!

My SD card works perfectly on my Bold 9000 but when i plug up the usb cable my PC doesn't detect it as a drive for me to access the files inside.

The mass storage support on the phone is enabled but nothing.

I tried reformatting it but it also does not work.

Any ideas?

Oh ya, i'm using OS 5.0.0.411

Can you check in the Options->Memory to make sure that 'Mass Storage Mode Support' is set to ON.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Disable the mass storage. Pull the battery with the phone on. Put it back in after about a minute or so. Re-enable it and they try to connect it. Also, try the other usb ports

Can you charge your phone with that cable, I'm thinking it could also be a faulty cable.

cable works fine. it can be detected by the Desktop Manager but it cannot recognize it as a separate drive in My Computer for me to access my files.

I've done the rest suggested by you guys but still nothing.

most likely, your bb storage is conflicting with another drive. "overlapping" drive letter.

just right click on your "my computer" and manage and try changing the drive letter on it.

That should resolve your issue I would think.
