alright fellas i need some quik advice be tween the 2 that i have listed.i know that the bold has 3g and the curve does not but that isn't a deal breaker for me.i want the one with the LOUDEST speakerphone and ringtones between the 2.i have a bold 9000 and as we all know the speakerphone absolutely sucks on this phone.my wifey has a curve 8310 and her speakerphone is what i want.which of the 2 that i am comparing is close,if either is,to the curve 8310 in the speakerphone dept.?also,which will hold up to the every day rigors of life the best?

I just went from an 8900 to a 9700 and I don'y have a problem with the speakerphone. I will tell you the trackpad alone is worth the upgrade. The 3G is great too.

honestly, the 9700 is superior in many ways. i had a 8900 for a while and after getting the 9700, i never looked back. i dont ever use the speaker phone so i cant say which is better. you could always go to an ATT or Tmo store and try them both out side by side. but keep in mind, the 9700 has so much more to offer

I had an 8310, loved the speaker phone; now I have the 9700 and in my opinion the speaker phone is just as good...if not better.
