I set a password to lock my 9700 after so much time goes by without any activity and when placed in the holster. After a couple of weeks I find this to be a real pain in the, well... you know.
How can I remove the password? I found a couple of threads where you go to the home screen, hit options, then password but I don't have a password option to select. My device goes to a Home Screen Preferences screen.
Go into you Options icon from the Home Screen. From there go to Password and set it to disabled.
