Cool Blackberry curve 8520 problems with downloading music

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

Got a blackberry for christmas and I have mastered most things on it but I cannot seem to be able to download any music or pictures onto it. I do not have a media card - is that the problem. I also do not get the mass storage message when I connect my phone to the pc.

Would anyone be willing to give me a dummy's guide on how to download music.

Thanks

If you don't have a Media Card, then you MUST use Roxio Media Manager through BlackBerry Desktop Manager in order to access the Device Memory. Mass Storage Mode won't work on the Device Memory.

Then you can copy the music to the Device Memory.

Note that you really should get Media Card for music.

Thanks for the reply. I did have a look at Roxio Media Manager but it did not mean much to me and I do not know how to use it.

Ok.

Well, Roxio Media Manager is the only way that you are going to access the BlackBerry Device Memory from a computer.

Take another look at it. It will allow you to access the device memory and then you can copy the files from your computer to the device memory through the program with a simple drag and drop the same as you would copy any file on your computer to another location.

Or get a Media Card and the process will be much more simple.
