Question Bold 9000 Internet problem

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to blackberry and the forum.
For some reason my browser isn't working unless wi-fi is turned on, can anyone help with this problem?
whenever i try i get a msg saying "This is a wi-di service. Please ensure your device has an active wi-fe connection and try again"
shouldnt the browser be able to work without wifi?

yes, if you have a blackberry data plan.
its likely its set to hotspot. this is the wi-fi only browser.
options - advanced - browser
default browser (the top option) change to Internet from Hotspot.

So theorectically you should have a wap browser option.
but its possible it doesnt show because you have no blackberry data plan.
