Hello all,

I am a BES administrator and none of my users can open attachments (pdf, doc, xls, etc.) on their BB devices. I have registered the required BB*.DLLs and the attachment service tests ok on the server. All users have the attachment application installed on their devices. All users receive the message "this attachment type cannot be viewed on your device".

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Do they have documents to go installed?

Thanks for the reply. No they do not. From what i understand, documents to go is not required to open attachments, is that correct?

Yes. We have installed "documents to go" on the devices and still have had no luck. Any other ideas?

When did this start? What changes were made prior to this issue happening? Have you tried restarting the services?

Can we assume you have restarted the Attachment service and/or the BES server?
