3 EXCH 2007 servers
1 BES
all Virtual ESX 3.5

Small Business < 150 mailboxes
50+ bes users

Scenario:

Our DRP plan (super-slimmed nut-shell version) to restore exhchange is to get empty mailboxes functional (no data just ability to send/receive) first then to import mailbox contents from backup.

Then get BES on its' feet.

My question is this. If users are set to wireless sync PIM information, what happens to contacts/calendar appts on the handhelds if exchange is restored with by creating mailboxes first prior to restoring data from mailbox/store backups?

Sorry for the lack of information- If I'm missing anything let me know what to include.

This procedure will restore Exchange with blank databases so that users can start using Outlook as soon as possible. With the databases being blank all of the users data (Calendar, Contacts, Email, Notes, Tasks) will not be in their mailboxes. Once the server is operational restore each database to the recovery storage and recover the users mailboxes.
